Use Express Pass to avoid long Lines
Universal Express Pass with your admission ticket
Once inside the park you can use the special express pass machines located at the entrance to the rides. You put your park entry ticket into the machine and out pops a sheet of paper with a return time. (A one hour window)
You return to the ride at the appointed time and enter by a separate express lane, bypassing the long lines.
Use the express pass and go do something else or sit in a shady spot until it is your appointed return time. Much better than standing in line in the heat.
You can only get one express pass at a time but you can get another as soon as you have used your existing pass or the one hour window has expired.
This pass is FREE and is included with your entry ticket.
Universal Express Pass Plus Universal Express Pass Plus available to purchase in the park.
This gives you one express entry to all the rides - all day, no waiting until you can get the next one. You just move from ride to ride using the pass at every one. (A supercharged express pass!)
However this freedom comes at a price. The prices vary according to season and it is in addition to your entry fee. The Express Pass Plus are only available from the park on the day - you cannot buy them in advance. They are strictly limited and go on sale one hour after the park has opened. Last year they were very expensive during the high season but if you have money to spare this is a great way to skip the lines.

If you are staying in one of the Universal Resort hotels you get Express Plus as part of your room. Just present your room key at each ride to breeze straight into the express lane. No waiting in line and no time delays - just use it at every ride.
